  19. The reason why the development is so slow, is that our main programmer 
  20. (err, thats me) is in the army.

  22. However, fear not, the solution is here! :) Just a while ago, a new 
  23. device-independent-audio system called AHI was released, as public beta. 
  24. You can find it in aminet, dev/mis/ahi.lha. Note that we have nothing to 
  25. do with AHI, it's made by Martin Blom <lcs@lysator.liu.se>.

  27. I wrote an AHI driver for Delfina. It is finished, working and available
  28. for ftp at the Delfina support site spot.lnet.lut.fi:/pub/amiga/sfx/delfina/.

  30. I decided to cancel delfaudio.library; AHI does have all the same 
  31. features (multichannel playback & recording). The current driver uses the 
  32. AHI mixing routines, ie. Delfina is not utilized in its full potential.. 
  33. However, now it's easy to update the driver later, all AHI products will 
  34. support it immediately.

  40. Currently, the only missing things are the parallel and serial port 
  41. support files. They were at very low priority earlier, my main concern 
  42. was to get the multichannel support..

  44. Also, you might consider the fact that there are audio boards like 
  45. Toccata and Sunrize that don't have multichannel support at all.. :)
